Til We Have Faces: An Apocalypse Keys Mission

DIVISION BRIEFING
We have reason to believe that a string of supernatural deaths taking place around Saint Renata Seminary in Barcelona indicate the presence of a HARBINGER and DOOR OF POWER.

Three bodies have turned up, each time making conventional forensic examination impossible as the corpses disintegrated into flower petals soon after discovery. The situation is complicated by Saint Renata’s housing a RETURNER treatment facility. RETURNERS are persons who escaped kidnapping and captivity by supernatural forces. One of the victims was a RETURNER.

Our team of agents must travel to Barcelona to figure out the meaning behind these strange deaths, the secrets of Saint Renata, and the connection to the Returners. The setting is an institution of higher learning which also houses a recovery center. It treats human kidnapped from this world and taken to a fantastical place who then either escape or are thrown out from it. You’ll see references to CS Lewis’ Till We Have Faces, Peter Pan, Narnia, and isekai.

This is a  complete Difficulty 6 mission, easily slotted into an existing campaign.
