When you gained your powers, you were uncertain and unsure. But a team of people joined together to help you out. Perhaps they were responsible for you gaining your powers, maybe they created your tech, or maybe they just kind of fell into your orbit.
NOTES
An alternate playbook for Masks: A New Generation. One of the tropes we’ve seen, especially in superhero TV shows, is the ensemble cast where we have a singular hero, supported by a team of people usually back in a HQ or lab, sometimes in the field: advisors, friends, researchers, reformed villains, etc.
This playbook aims to emulate that. It’s a little more involved in tracking NPCs and uses an additional label, so it’s probably best for a player and group who have played Masks before. In having a group they’re answerable to in one way or another, The Crew echoes other Masks Playbooks: The Soldier, The Legacy, The Scion. As such it might work best in a team without those already present. I don't think it would work well paired with The Joined.
